Atletix Horse — how we are different
Every joint supplement wants to reach the joint. Almost none of them deal with the route there.
Glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin add building material. Atletix Horse contains none of them. We work on the transport instead — the blood circulation that carries nutrients and oxygen to where they are needed.
Two approaches
The same goal — two completely different routes.
Building material
Adds substances naturally found in cartilage and joint fluid. Well established, and what most tubs in the feed store are based on.
Assumes the body can transport the nutrients to where they are needed.
The flow
The formula is built around nitric oxide — a molecule the body produces itself, which plays a role in how blood vessels widen and contract.
An elastic vessel can stretch as the blood passes through. This helps oxygen and nutrients reach their destination. The discovery was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine.

What the difference is in practice
No withdrawal period
A year of supplementing. And a year without interruptions.
Products with a withdrawal period have to be stopped before competing. That means a break in feeding every time you compete — and keeping track of withdrawal times.
Four ingredients
What is in the jar
L-Arginine
Amino acid. One of the building blocks the body uses to form nitric oxide.
L-Citrulline
Amino acid that the body can convert into arginine.
Beetroot extract
Natural source of nitrate — the third known building block for nitric oxide.
Rhodiola
Herbal extract traditionally used during physical exertion.
Sizes
The bigger the jar, the lower the price per gram

What horse owners say
Reviews from our customers
Questions we often get
Can I give Atletix Horse together with my current joint supplement?
Yes. Atletix Horse does not contain glucosamine, MSM or chondroitin, so the products do not overlap. If you have questions about your horse's feeding plan, talk to your feed advisor or veterinarian.
How long does it take before you notice anything?
It varies between individuals. We recommend a higher starting dose for the first few days and the standard dose after that. A full dosage guide is on each product page.
What does no withdrawal period mean in practice?
That the product does not need to be stopped before competing. You can feed the same thing all year round. If you compete under international rules, each federation's own regulations apply — always check what applies to your discipline.
Is it suitable for all horses?
Atletix Horse is a complementary feed that can be given to horses of all ages. If your horse is under treatment or you have questions about its health, talk to your veterinarian.
Where is the product made?
Developed and made in Sweden under strict quality control. The product comes from the Swedish family company BioConcept.
The comparison describes categories of feed supplements, not individual products. Content and withdrawal periods vary between brands — always check the ingredient list of the product you are considering. Atletix Horse is a complementary feed and does not replace veterinary care.
